We’re seeking talented artisans who specialize in handmade and original creations to join this year’s market.
A selection committee will review all vendor applications to ensure a well-balanced mix of handcrafted goods. Applicants will be notified by email if approved to participate.
Please note: at this time, we are not accepting permanent jewelry, T-shirt vendors, crochet, or pottery vendors.

City of Lavonia Christmas Parade – Route Change and Event Details
The City of Lavonia’s beloved Christmas Parade returns on Sunday, December 7, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM. This year, we’re introducing a new parade route to improve safety and maintain our cherished candy tradition!
We ask all spectators to please remain on the sidewalks during the parade to ensure everyone’s safety. This will allow participants to hand out candy safely throughout the route.

Parade Begins: 3:00 PM

Line-Up: 1:00–2:00 PM

Entry Fee: $15 (supports safety and advertising)

Location: Downtown Lavonia, Georgia
🚗 New 2025 Parade Route
The parade will begin at Lavonia City Hall (Augusta Road / Hwy 17) and travel toward the Lavonia Police Department.
From there, the route will:

Turn right onto Grogan Street
-
Turn left onto West Main Street
-
Continue down West Main onto Highway 59
-
Turn right onto East Main Street
-
End near Morgan Hardware
Spectators are encouraged to line both sides of Main Street for the best view!
📣 Announcer & Float Competition
Our parade announcer will be stationed at the Gazebo, sharing information about each float and participant. The Float Competition will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes based on creativity, theme representation, craftsmanship, and community spirit.
🏆 Winners will be announced immediately following the parade during our Christmas Celebration downtown!
📝 Line-Up Instructions

Line-up takes place from 1:00–2:00 PM on Shuford Street (between Dollar General and the gas station).

Classic and antique cars will turn onto Joe Harvey Street (in front of the old Moose Lodge).

Floats and trucks will continue to Ayers Street to line up.

Please note: No vehicle access or drop-offs at City Hall. Participants may be dropped off at the American Legion or Cultural Center and walk to their float.
🚨 Parade Rules & Safety Requirements

Follow all instructions from Lavonia Public Safety and event staff.

Drivers must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
-
Only classic or antique personal vehicles permitted; all others must represent a business, organization, or church.

All floats must follow the Christmas theme.
-
No Santa impersonations (Santa closes the parade!).
-
Children must remain supervised.
-
No performance stops unless pre-approved.
-
Event is rain or shine.
