Vendor Rules and Regulations
A list of items to be sold must be submitted to the planning committee prior to the festival for approval. All items must be handmade and/or era themed. Photos of your products may be requested. Products not allowed include, but are not limited to alcohol, tobacco, ingestible CBD/Hemp related products, and firearms.
We ask that all participants wear period attire to help keep the Renaissance theme continuous. Our goal for the Renaissance Festival is to provide a unique, immersive experience for paying guests.
All booths or tents must also be decorated to fit in with the Renaissance/Medieval times. No logos on canopies should be visible.
All participants must agree to stay the entire day from set-up until close unless otherwise specified.
Spaces are a minimum of 10’ x 10’. Spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt and approval of the application. Requests for specific booth spaces will be considered. Electricity is not available.
No vehicles will be allowed on the grassy areas in the park. If you need to drive to your space for loading/unloading, please let us know. You will be assigned a spot on the street. All vehicles MUST be moved before 8:30 a.m. *
Ayers Street in front of the park will be closed at 8:30 a.m. You will NOT be allowed to turn onto Ayers from either Hwy 17 or Joe Harvey Street. Vendors may park at the American Legion Building.
Vendors are solely responsible for collecting and paying any applicable sales tax.
Each vendor will receive 4 passes per booth for themselves and their workers. Additional passes must be purchased for $10 for adults or $5 for students. Wristbands are required to be worn.
*PLEASE NOTE: The Lavonia Renaissance Festival is held at the Lavonia City Park which is a natural setting with hills. Some vendors with mobility issues may have difficulties walking to their booth spaces. There will not be anyone available to help with loading and unloading.
In addition to this application, all food vendors are required to fill out the Temporary Food Service Application from the Franklin County Health Department. The temporary food service inspection fees are included in your Renaissance Application fees. Representatives from the health department will be onsite at the event to perform inspections. Food vendors include anyone selling or serving any type of food that is not commercially packaged. All food must be prepared on-site at the event unless the vendor holds the appropriate Georgia License, such as a GA Department of Agriculture Cottage Food License. A copy of that license must accompany the Temporary Food Service Application.
All food vendors should contact the health department for a consultation about their individual proposed setup and food service requirements at 706-384-5575 extension 4.
